This is my memories of my Mother

This is my Mother, she was born on the 6th of September, 1923, she left this Earth on the 14th of March, 2007.

She was born in Ludington Michigan, and had lots of Sisters and one Brother. Most, but not all are gone now.

My Mother was the strongest women I ever met in my life. I don't think she ever weighed more than 105 lbs. in her life, and at the end she was down to about 73 lbs. But there was more spirit and life in those few pounds than anyone twice her size. I once saw her slap a man that was 6 feet 4 inches, just because he was about to do something stupid, and he respected her for it.

My Mother and Father we married both twice, my Father not having other children, but my Mother had a Daughter, Sharon, who after many years of not speaking, reformed their relationship over 30 years ago and have been very close every sense. She loved her Daughter with all her heart, and all her children and grandchildren.

My Mother was a Wife, Mother, Sister, Grandmother and Great-Grandmother, and she loved every one in her family, and everyone loved her.

She never met anyone that she could not bring the goodness out in them.

Everyone that ever met my Mother, she left her mark on. I have never once heard a negative word about her, and she had friends that she kept in contact with her entire life.

She gave of herself with no thought of getting anything in return. She had such a sense of other people's feelings, and she always put those in front of her own.

I miss her every minute. Her and my Father both. They were married 2 weeks shy of 50 years, but they are together forever now, both in spirit and loving memory.

She left us in her sleep, without pain for the first time in 15 years, in her own bed with my Sister and I at her side.

I hope I can live up to what she wanted of me. I love you Mom, and always will.

Goodbye, see you again. Save me a space next to you and Dad.

I love you,

Tommy
